Zija Brubaker Lubin-West



Zija Brubaker Lubin-West has a Bachelor of Arts Theatre Arts Major from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She was a Technical Theatre major at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts where she learned a broad knowledge of technical skills, including an extensive knowledge of Electrics and Costuming, as she had started her education on those topics long before high school. While she was in high school, she found a love of Stage Management. Her first job as an Assistant Stage Manager was on the show On the Line at the 78th Street Theatre Lab with Rasha Zamamiri as Production Stage Manager. It was at that point that she decided to pursue a career in Stage Management. Since then, she was worked on everything from small one man shows, to large scale operas.

She is proud of all of the work that she has done, spanning all the different interests and skills that she has acquired over the years. She is a Professional Member of the Stage Managers Association, an Associate Member of the League of Professional Theatre Women, works with the Women in the Arts & Media Coalition, and is a Production Assistant for the Broadway Stage Management Symposium. She is also a proud member of the Actors' Equity Association.
