Zija Brubaker Lubin-West


 
 

Zija Brubaker Lubin-West is currently getting her Masters Degree in Applied Theatre at CUNY School of Professional Studies. She  has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She was a Technical Theatre major at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts where she learned a broad knowledge of technical skills, including an extensive knowledge and concentration in Electrics, Costuming, and Stage Management. Her first job as an Assistant Stage Manager was on the show On the Line at the 78th Street Theatre Lab with Rasha Zamamiri as Production Stage Manager. That was just the beginning to the career that she has created. Since then, she has worked on a little bit of everything, from small one person shows, to large scale operas - finding the beauty in all types of entertainment.

She is a member of the Actors' Equity Association, a Professional Member of the Stage Managers Association, a Full Member of the League of Professional Theatre Women, a Member of the Women in the Arts & Media Coalition, and has been a Production Assistant for the Broadway Stage Management Symposium since 2016.
